TRA Mobile App is a modern, elegant application available for Android smart devices, such as smartphones and tablets, that provides convenient access to a range of TRA services. The application is thoughtfully designed to ensure optimal performance and user experience across devices of varying screen sizes. Its primary aim is to empower taxpayers to conveniently self-serve from the comfort of their homes without the need to visit TRA offices for assistance.

• Verification: Users can authenticate their Taxpayer Identity Number (TIN), VAT Registration Number (VRN), EFD serial, and EFD receipts. Verification can be effortlessly carried out by scanning the QR codes printed on the relevant documents.
• Tax Returns: VAT registered taxpayers have access to both pending and submitted returns for any given month of the year.
• Payments (Bills): Taxpayers can view issued bills along with their control numbers. Bills are categorized as pending, paid, or canceled and are conveniently presented in a list format for easy search and filtering. Additionally, users can copy control numbers directly from the bill details for seamless sharing.
• My EFDs: Taxpayers who own EFD machines can monitor them through this module. Information includes machine status (e.g., Blocked, Active, Out of order), Z number, and the last reported date. Users can also access detailed EFD information such as UIN, model, and serial number.
• Tools: Includes tools for motor vehicle valuation and PAYE calculation. PAYE computations are tailored for specific locations like Zanzibar and Mainland with currency limited to Tanzanian Shillings.
• Alerts: Relevant notifications are housed in the Alerts section for user visibility. Unread notification counts are clearly highlighted near the Alerts menu icon for quick access. Users have the flexibility to delete notifications at their discretion.
